An In- House Competition

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIEND is a competition geared to garner excitement and get either the desire to compete back or help a friend forgo their nerves and get their first competition under their belt.


Comp Details

  • 2 members per team

  • Each team will consist of a RX and a SX athlete of the same sex.

  • The competition will be divided by gender for the first 3 workouts.

  • The final workout will be between the team winners of each gender. 

  • Only one team will be crowned winner of the competition and will get all the bragging rights!!!

Cost Per Team


All teams will participate in 3 workouts, the winners from each gender (male & female) will participate in one final workout. The 3 initial workouts will be released within the next week

  • Spectators are welcome in designated areas. 

  • Spectators are asked to RSVP in advance.

  • The spectator fee is a donation of $5 (under DROP-IN FEE) to the Center of Hope and Safety.

  • To RSVP to your spectator spot click on the "SPECTATOR" it will take you to the Spectator Class where you can contribute with your $5 donation at the moment of RSVP.


  • Designated warm-up areas will be given in time slots to competitors.

  • All equipment must and will be wiped down/sanitized after each use.

  • Competitors will be asked to remain in their designated areas until it is their turn to compete.

  • Safety procedures will be emailed to all competitors and spectators upon registering.



Both athletes will have 3 attempts to establish a 1RM Deadlift. Both athletes will work and load the same barbell.


The total of each athlete's highest successful lift will be the total score. 

***Barbells can only increase weight, once you have loaded a barbell you cannot decrease the weight***

**Any failed attempt will result in 0 LBS for that attempt** 

Time cap: 10 minutes


For time:

200 single unders (100/100)
150 Wallballs (75/75)
100 Box jumps (50/50)

***only 1 athlete working at a time.

**During the wallballs portion athletes cannot put the medball down.

*Split rep scheme as needed as long as both athletes complete the required reps per individual. The order of the movements cannot be altered.

CAP: 15 mins


In a 8 minute window perform as many reps as possible of:

Rowing for meters 
Burpees to a 6 inch target

*Both athletes must switch every minute and the total of meters + burpees completed by both athletes in the 8 minute window will be the score for the AMRAP.
